![]() Housekeeping: We are now in the physics portion of the school year. We will cover motion, forces, and waves. We will begin with motion. I have a reading packet for you to use as a reference and for practice problems. It should take us about a month to complete the motion missions. Click HERE for Motion, Part I. Housekeeping: Welcome back and Happy New Year!! We will start this semester off with energy and thermochemistry. It will take about a month to cover this content and there's a big lab associated with this unit. You need to reference Chapter 5 (Temperature and Heat) in your workbooks.
Click HERE for Missions. We are now working on Chemical Reactions. We are now doing "real" chemistry and there will be quite a few labs and activities associated with chemical reactions.
Your test over Chemical Bonding is scheduled for November 21. Starting on November 25, you will begin working on your final exam, which is a presentation over Reactions that Changed the World. You will have November 28 & 29 to work in class, but all other work must be done at home or outside of class. The final presentations are scheduled for December 9. This is non-negotiable. Housekeeping: We are now working in the Chemical Bonding unit. This unit should take no more than three weeks to complete.
