Your exam has 15 questions: 13 MC and 2 short answer. It covers the material in Chapters 5 & 6. You need to be familiar with everything in each chapter. It is half-math, but you should be able to reason your way through the calculations. You need to be able to draw, label and interpret energy curves and determine if reactions are endo or exo, and where Ea is. You should be able to calculate enthalpy via Hess' Law and/or bond enthalpies. You should be able to read a reaction rate diagram and interpret it. You need to know the factors that affect reaction rates and HOW they affect the rates, and be able to decipher that on a graph.
You also need to recall how to draw Lewis structures for simple compounds, write and balance chemical equations and determine delta H for the entire system. Your short answer questions are multi-step, but you can get through them if you answer each part one by one. Do not forget to bring your data booklet; as you will not be able to share or use mine.
