Supplemental: Formula of a Hydrate

Today you guys are doing the formula of a hydrate lab.  You are going to burn off the water of a hydrated salt and calculate the empirical formula.  You'll need to go back to Chapter 1 and review empirical and molecular formulas.  This is our second chance to do an EF/MF lab.

Below is a video walking you through how to do the lab.  It is suggested that you watch it before you begin working on the lab.
Below are some links to lab reports that you should review.  They will help you understand what kind of information and data should be in your lab report.  While you may use them as a resource, you better not plagiarize them.
